
Why Contribute
Being a writer is hard and often we have little help when we are starting out. I believe that all writers are bound together by our shared experiences. it is this familial bond that binds us together as a tribe. As a member of the writing community, I believe that when we help and encourage others, we make the community stronger. As indie writers we have to do much more than just write. We also have to be publishers which means we have to also do editing, typesetting, and marketing. We welcome advice from authors who want to help in our mission of helping other writers and aspiring writers.

What to Include in Submissions
Title of Article
Category: We publish articles giving advice under four main categories: WRITING (Advice regarding any aspect of writing.) OBSTACLES (Advice regarding any obstacles a writer or publisher may face.) PUBLISHING (Advice about publishing your own books.) MARKETING (Advice about marketing your book.)
Writers’ Bio & Picture
Writers Links (Optional) Links the writer wants included in their profile.

Formatting Requirements
Articles should be submitted in a 12pt Word document. (Single-spaced is fine.) Any images the writer wants included should be uploaded separately and must be labeled. (However, any images included must be royalty-free, a Creative Common, or property of the submitter.)
Blog posts should be between 600 to 1500 words and cannot exceed 2000 words or be less than 500 words.

By submitting your article you agree to have it published by The Poor Writers Guide to Everything. You agree that no confidential relationship or obligation of secrecy is established or expected between you and The Poor Writers Guide to Everything concerning the Submissions. You agree that The Poor Writers Guide to Everything shall have the unrestricted right to use and disclose any Submissions.
You hereby grant The Poor Writers Guide to Everything a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, right to reproduce, distribute, and display your work, (publicly or otherwise). create derivative works of, adapt, modify, make, have made, sell, offer for sale, import, and otherwise use and exploit, all Submissions, in any format or media now known or hereafter developed, and for any purpose. You hereby acknowledge and agree that your submission of Submissions is gratuitous and does not place the Company under any fiduciary or other obligation or entitle you to any payment. You further irrevocably waive any “moral rights” or other rights concerning attribution of authorship or integrity of materials regarding each Submission that you may have under any applicable law under any legal theory.
(NOTE: Because this is a non-exclusive agreement you are free to publish your work elsewhere in addition to at The Poor Writers Guide to Everything. Also, any work submitted to The Poor Writers Guide to Everything will be credited to the author.)

Where to Submit
Submit you blog article and attached material to [email protected] and under subject put Blog.
NOTE: If you want your photo to show up in you blog post
than you must register the email address you used to
submit your blog post with Gravatar. Or provide an image with your submission.
Otherwise, your post image will be a default blank avatar. (As seen below.)
