What I’ve Learned as an Indie Writer
Being a writer is hard, and publishing your books is even harder. Publishing a book on a budget means you have to learn a lot of jobs because you can’t just hire people to do it for you. However, with a little know-how and dedication, it can be done. I will be sharing the things I learned the hard way since publishing my first book in 2009.

About Writing
I have always been a great storyteller. However, I had to learn to be a good writer. Over the years I have learned a lot about writing and editing. By sharing what we know we can help future writers find their style.
I hope this blog will be helpful to others.

About Publishing
After writing a book the real work begins. Editing, typesetting, cover art, creating front matter pages & glossaries, buying ISBNs, copyrighting, packaging eBooks, and setting up distributors.
While It may seem daunting, it can be done.

About Marketing
The first thing to understand about marketing is that EVERYTHING IS MARKETING. There are ways a writer can increase the perceived value of a book. By understanding how to increase your book’s perceived value, you make it more marketable which cost little or nothing.
